About Forsyth Counseling
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, I provide compassionate, culturally responsive therapy for individuals of all ages. My client-centered approach is focused on helping you recognize your strengths, clarify what matters most to you, and create meaningful, lasting change in your life. I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs and experiences. As a fluent Spanish speaker, I am also able to provide therapy in Spanish, helping ensure that language is not a barrier to quality mental health care.
I specialize in helping clients navigate adjustment challenges, anxiety, and mood-related concerns. Whether you're facing life transitions, managing anxiety, or working through emotional difficulties, I create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your concerns and develop practical strategies for positive change. My commitment is to help you build resilience and move forward with confidence.
I work with children, teens, and adults, as well as couples and families. I currently only accept self-pay clients, with sliding-scale options available. I believe quality mental health care should be accessible, and I strive to make therapy an affordable and practical resource for navigating life’s challenges.
Telehealth for Individuals, Couples, and Families
Narrative and Person-Centered Therapy
You are more than the problems you face. Narrative Therapy helps you separate yourself from the problem, recognize the strengths and values already present in your story, and develop new ways of understanding yourself and moving forward.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. CBT helps you identify unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior and develop practical skills to respond to challenges in healthier, more effective ways.
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
Past experiences can continue to affect how we feel and respond today. EMDR is a trauma-focused therapy that helps the brain process distressing memories and experiences so they become less emotionally overwhelming and have less influence on your present life.
